Job Description
- Candidates will be troubleshooting production equipment (using Allen Bradley PLCs)such as wiring or metal forming machinery (that form water heaters) welding machinery that cut the metal,
- Must be able to install, troubleshoot and repair electrical controls and PLC equipment
- Able to make minor program changes as needed to maintain industrial production equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment, with a strong emphasis on, but not limited to, electrical controls and systems
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance or similar environment with a focus on electrical controls, or combination of education and experience
Must have previous Industrial electrical knowledge: 4-20ma signals, 0-10vdc signals, RSLogix 5000, , Variable Frequency Drives, HMI’s Ladder logic, Electrical prints, 480vac-24vdc, Relays, light curtains and other safety interlocking systems, Conduit runs and repairs, Servos and servo controls, etc
Must be Proficient in connecting to, communicating with and general use of various PLC platforms
Must have the Ability to read and troubleshoot with the use of electrical drawings and schematics
Excellent understanding of machine function logic and ability to troubleshoot various PLC type programming
In-depth understanding of control circuitry on all levels, such as burner controls, VFD’s and DC drives
Pay Rate: $26 and up depending on experience
