This company is a nationwide organization that specializes in all aspects of cabling including CCTV, cat5/6, patch panels, access points, terminations, punch downs etc. Candidates must have ample experience with most of these technologies, especially with CCTV and network cabling! The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who can work independently without supervision. This position is client facing and will require you to do physical work in areas that may still be under construction. Manual labor may be required. Candidates must have the following experience: – Cat5 and Cat6 cabling – Structured cabling – CCTV – Punch downs, terminations Pluses: – Having your own tools is not required, but a plus – Any other networking experience with hardware – A CCTV license This job can start this week! Realty Services, LLC is a real estate development company for the purpose of
bringing revitalization and development to various neighborhoods in New York
and other states by providing affordable housing with OVER 12,500 units. Reliant Safety, a division of Reliant Realty
Services, installs and maintains camera systems and access control systems at
these properties. Reliant Safety is currently seeking to add a CCTV/Access
Control Field Technician to their team.

Position Overview:

The CCTV/Access Control Field Technician will complete installations, conduct troubleshooting, and repair of complex CCTV and access control systems.Reporting tothe AVP of Field Operations, Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • 50-75% travel, currently all domestic along the
    east coast.
  • Installation
    of cameras, cable, and conduit.
  • Travel for offsite hardware, software, network, and
    video support.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and repair complex integrated
    security systems, including troubleshooting issues that may be related to
    network architecture, protocols or other network related factors.
  • Complete major systems integrations, including
    system commissioning.
  • Communicate with subcontractors and coordinate work
    with subcontractors and/or other employees as required to ensure efficient and
    timely completion of work.
  • Maintain all company property and supplies,
    including but not limited to tools, equipment, parts and documentation.
  • Must be able to accommodate emergency work off
    hours. Also take part in an on-call rotation with other support
    technicians.
  • Document all queries, problems, and requests in the
    support database.

  • Provide technical training to security personnel as
    required.
